Nothing is due while we are talking. When you decide, a bill of sale comes first and the money follows it — never the other way round.
The bill of sale
A written Kaufvertrag naming the watch, its reference and serial, the price, the shipping to your country and the total. It is the document that makes the sale a sale, and once you have paid against it we have a contract — until then either of us can walk away without a reason.
Prices are in euro and no VAT is added or shown: this is a private sale of used goods on which it was paid decades ago. That also means there is no VAT for a business to reclaim, which is worth knowing before you ask.
How you can pay
Order of events
You ask, I confirm it is still free and hold it for twenty-four hours after that reply. Inspection, if you want one, happens before payment — come and try it on, or have it sent to a watchmaker of your choosing. Then the bill of sale, then payment, then it ships within a week and you get the tracking number the day it goes.
Each watch is a single piece. If two people ask at once, the first to pay has it and I tell the other the same day rather than leave them waiting.
