Bucherer Intra-matic Dress Watch, 1960s
Ref. 905703 · Calibre Buren 1280The gilt bezel has gone soft at the edges, brassing through where a case this thin naturally takes the knocks of daily wear, and it's that wear pattern I keep coming back to when I look at this one. What I'm selling is a clean, silvered dial with applied gold baton indices and a small blemish or two near the centre, under a crystal that's slightly domed and shows the same light scuffing as the case. The gold-toned hands match the indices and still catch the light cleanly against the dial's soft sunburst finish. Inside sits the Buren 1280, the automatic caliber Bucherer used across its intra-matic line, and the caseback carries a clearly legible serial, engraved rather than stamped. It hasn't been polished, so the lugs and bezel show their age plainly, without any attempt to tidy it up. This suits someone who wants a wearable 1960s dress watch and doesn't mind visible proof of that on the case.
Privatverkauf. Everything described above — case, dial, hands, lume, rate and service history — is agreed condition for this watch and I stand behind all of it. Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age. That exclusion does not cover anything I have misdescribed or failed to disclose, and never covers injury or intent.
Fourteen days to return it for any reason — my own promise, not a statutory withdrawal right. Terms · How I describe condition
