Bulova Ambassador Dress Watch 1960s
Ref. M7 · Calibre Bulova 12EBAWhat sold me on this one is the caseback: a full presentation inscription from "Eastern Drivers" to a George Haley, dated October '68, still crisp under the wear. The dial is the original silvered finish, warm rather than white now, with faceted gold-tone indices and dauphine hands that still catch light cleanly against it. The 10kt gold-filled case holds its shape well, with the corners of the lugs showing the expected thinning of gold fill rather than any reshaping, and the crystal has the gentle dome I associate with the period. Inside sits the Bulova 12EBA automatic, unopened by me, keeping this a self-winding Ambassador rather than the more common manual-wind versions from the line. I've fitted a new black leather strap with a Bulova-signed buckle, but everything else here is as it came to me. This suits someone who wants a dated, named piece of Bulova's history on the wrist, not a cabinet piece.

Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age. That exclusion does not cover anything I have misdescribed or failed to disclose, and never covers injury or intent.
