Helbros Alarm 1960s Manual Wind Watch
The red-ringed minute track around this dial is what pulled my eye first, a full circuit of small painted blocks that gives the alarm function somewhere to register visually, not just mechanically. What I'm looking at is a silvered, radially brushed dial with faceted gold-tone baton indices, matching dauphine hands, and a slim red alarm-set hand pivoting from the centre alongside a small date window at three. The gold-tone case has held its shape well, with only light handling marks and a touch of finish loss at the case sides, and the caseback plainly states its stainless steel back over a base metal bezel, exactly as Helbros specified for this alarm model. Winding and alarm-set crowns both sit at the edge, correctly positioned and undamaged. This suits someone who wants a wearable 1960s manual alarm piece rather than a shelf display, and who doesn't mind case wear consistent with an example that has actually been used.
