The lume in those hour markers has gone the soft green-grey of age, and I can see it's shrunk slightly inside the baton frames rather than crumbled out, which tells me this dial has never been messed with. It's a two-tone silvered dial with applied baton indices, the Ocean Star script and "powerwind" signature both crisp, and a day-date window at three that's stayed clean and legible. The dauphine hands match the markers in tone and wear evenly, no flaking. Case-wise the lugs and bezel show genuine handling marks and light scuffing under raking light, consistent with decades of actual use rather than shelf life, and the crown signed Mido winds smoothly when I tried it. I haven't had the caseback off, so the automatic movement inside is unseen, but the dial and case together read as a coherent, unpolished example. This suits a buyer who wants a wearable 1960s piece with real character rather than a display piece.
