Omega Calatrava Dress Watch, 1950s
Calibre Omega 26.5SOB T2I'm listing this one exactly as it reached me — dial and movement only, no case, so what you're buying is the heart of a 1950s Omega Calatrava rather than a complete watch on a bracelet. The dial itself is a brushed silver finish with applied gold dagger indices, Arabic 12, 3 and 9, and a small recessed seconds sub-dial at six; the gold hands have toned slightly but still catch the light against the dial. Turning it over, I can see the 26.5SOB T2 calibre clearly: fifteen jewels, sunburst-finished bridges, the ADL2TWO positions adjustment stamped plainly, and a legible serial I'm not quoting here. There's light tarnishing at the dial's edge and a few small marks near the indices, wear I'd put down to age and handling rather than damage. I'd point this one at a restorer or a collector who wants a genuine period movement to case up on their own terms.
