Zodiac Olympos Automatic 1960s
Ref. 722 928 · Calibre Zodiac 70-72The grey dial has gone a soft taupe-brown at the edges, and I can see faint patchiness near six and nine o'clock where the finish has broken down unevenly rather than uniformly fading. The applied indices and dauphine hands still throw a clean shine against that mottled surface, and the Olympos script under the Zodiac logo is crisp. Case-wise, the lugs on my example show real edge wear and light scuffing along the bevels consistent with time on a wrist, not a shelf; the caseback retains its stamped Acier Inoxydable markings and reference clearly, with a legible serial I won't reproduce here. Flipping it over, the 70-72 automatic movement is exposed under a display-style view, rotor and bridges intact with the usual light handling marks but nothing that looks disturbed. I'd put this in front of someone who wants a wearable, unpolished 1960s automatic rather than a dial that's been redone to look newer than it is.

Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age.
