Zodiac Tank Manual Wind 1950s
Ref. 141548 · Calibre Zodiac 10-SI photographed this one side-on deliberately, because that's where the plating tells the truth: the case has worn through to brass at the crystal edge and lug shoulders, consistent with real handling rather than shelf time. The dial itself has held up better — a silvered, slightly warm surface with a few small age spots, slim copper-toned baton indices, matching leaf hands, and a thin sweep second, set below the Zodiac script and its small stacked logo at twelve. It's a compact tank case with stepped lugs, and inside is a manual-wind Zodiac calibre 10-S, fifteen jewels, rhodium-plated, blued screws intact, with a legible movement serial I'm not quoting here. The acrylic crystal carries fine scratches, and the strap currently fitted is a later black leather band. I'd suggest this one to someone who wants a genuine 1950s dress tank for a small wrist, not a case polished back to looking new.
Privatverkauf. Everything described above — case, dial, hands, lume, rate and service history — is agreed condition for this watch and I stand behind all of it. Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age. That exclusion does not cover anything I have misdescribed or failed to disclose, and never covers injury or intent.
Fourteen days to return it for any reason — my own promise, not a statutory withdrawal right. Terms · How I describe condition
