Ref. 144-49-02 · Calibre Enicar 165The bark-textured bezel is what pulls me in every time I pick this one up — that deep vertical striping catching light differently depending on the angle, still sharp at the edges rather than worn smooth. My eye then goes to the dial: a warm gold sunburst with faceted black-and-gold baton indices standing well off the surface, and matching gold hands with black inlay, all still legible and true against the applied ENICAR Sherpa Star signature. The case shows brassing at the high points of that textured bezel, consistent with genuine use rather than tidying up. Flip it over and the automatic caliber 165 is running, finished with a gold rotor and Enicar's engraved bridge, with a legible serial I'm leaving out of this description. This suits someone who wants a 1970s automatic with real tactile presence on the wrist, not a polished reissue.
