Eterna Automatic Three-hand 1950s
Calibre Eterna 1159HWhat pulled me in on this one is the sub-dial: a small, cleanly recessed running-seconds register sitting apart from the tropical brown-black gilt dial, still crisp against the mottled patina spreading across the rest of the face. The gilt Arabic numerals and the dagger hands have both taken on that soft bronze cast that only comes with decades under the crystal, and I can see the discolouration is uneven, heavier in the upper half of the dial than the lower. The case is unpolished, steel, with real handling marks along the lug edges and a domed crystal that has its own scratches to show for it. Turning it over, the case back is stamped Brevet and the automatic movement inside is Eterna's own 1159H caliber, a solid three-hand workhorse from the 1950s. I'd point this one at a buyer who wants dial character over sharp edges.

Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age.
