Calibre AS 884This is the one dial in my current lot that stopped me mid-sort, a salmon-copper centre ringed in black with aged gilt Arabic numerals that have gone honey-coloured rather than staying bright. The gilt baton hands match that same warmed tone, and the small seconds sits low at six, printed with the model's Incabloc and Antimagnetique markings above it in tiny type. Under the loupe I can see the case has had a life: light scuffing along the lug edges, a few fine marks on the flanks, nothing polished away. The snap-back is stamped with concentric machine turning and a legible serial, and inside sits the AS 884 hand-wound movement, clean and unrefinished, with its bridges still showing sharp circular graining. I'd put this on someone who wants a period two-register dial worn in rather than dressed up for sale.

Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age. That exclusion does not cover anything I have misdescribed or failed to disclose, and never covers injury or intent.
