T621203 · Calibre Girard Perregaux 91The first thing I noticed lifting this one out was the shape of the case, not the dial: those flared, almost architectural lugs curl right off the tonneau body, and the profile shot shows how deep and faceted the crystal sits above them. The dial itself has gone a soft champagne-grey with age, with raised gilt Arabic numerals at 12, 2, 4, 8 and 10, a recessed subsidiary seconds register, and gold dauphine hands that still catch light cleanly. There's speckled patina and light staining across the surface, more pronounced near the edges, and the case shows brassing at the lug tips and case back where gold fill has worn through to base metal. I had the movement out to photograph it: a manual-wind 17-jewel caliber, clean and unmodified as far as I can tell, with the Girard-Perregaux 1791 stamp still crisp. I'd point this one at a buyer who wants case architecture and dial character over sharp edges, and who doesn't mind wear that's clearly from use rather than neglect.

Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age. That exclusion does not cover anything I have misdescribed or failed to disclose, and never covers injury or intent.
