Glashütte Original GUB 62 Dress Watch, 1950s
Ref. 7266 · Calibre GUB 62Turn this one on its side and the case tells its own story: the gold plating along the lugs has worn through to brass, and I've left it exactly as it came to me rather than tidy it up. Above that case sits a long, tiered rectangular dial in cream, with applied Arabic numerals, gold dauphine hands, and a small seconds sub-dial at six, signed GUB Glashütte. The manual-wind caliber GUB 62 inside is finished plainly but well, with a sunburst ratchet wheel and jewelled train visible through the open back, and I can see its serial is legible on the plate. The steel caseback has kept its shape, though the gold-plated case and bezel show scuffing consistent with decades of wear. I'd put this on the wrist of someone who wants a 1950s Glashütte to use, not to shelve, and who doesn't mind a case that shows its age plainly.
Privatverkauf. Everything described above — case, dial, hands, lume, rate and service history — is agreed condition for this watch and I stand behind all of it. Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age. That exclusion does not cover anything I have misdescribed or failed to disclose, and never covers injury or intent.
Fourteen days to return it for any reason — my own promise, not a statutory withdrawal right. Terms · How I describe condition
