Glycine Dress Three-hand 1950s
I pulled this dial-and-movement set out for closer study before it went back in the tray, and the sector layout is what held my attention: brushed silvered outer minute track giving way to a darker, almost graphite-toned centre, with Roman XII and III and IX against slim painted batons elsewhere on the chapter ring. The dauphine hands and subsidiary seconds at six are clean, with only light aging to the lume-free finish, and "Glycine Bienne Genève" sits crisply under the sector break. The 16-jewel manual movement is unsigned beyond the maker's name, finished with Geneva stripes on the bridges, a jewelled escapement visible under the balance cock, and a legible serial I won't reproduce here. There's no case in these shots, just dial and movement, so this suits a buyer restoring or casing a 1950s Glycine rather than someone wanting a complete piece off the shelf. I'd class it as a builder's component, not a finished watch.
