Hanhart Super Chronograph 1950s
Calibre Hanhart 120I stopped on this one in a tray of chronographs because of the squared, deco-style '12' on the dial, a shape Hanhart didn't keep for long. The dial itself is warm silver, ringed by a red-and-black tachymeter track, with gilt baton and arrow markers, dauphine hands in matching gold, and a red centre seconds hand sweeping a single sub-register at six. The gold-plated case has thinned at the caseback, brass showing through in a ring around the rim, and the two pump pushers either side of the crown still move cleanly. Opened up, the manual-wind Hanhart calibre 120 is signed, seventeen jewels, adjusted, marked Germany, with a serial legible on the plate. I've kept the green strap on it as it came to me. I'd put this one on the wrist of someone who wants a 1950s chronograph to actually wear, wear marks included, not one already tidied up.

Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age. That exclusion does not cover anything I have misdescribed or failed to disclose, and never covers injury or intent.
