Longines Ultra-Chron Chronometer, 1970s
Ref. 3202 1 · Calibre Longines 6651I pulled the caseback off this one myself and found a balance wheel and hairspring sitting loose in the bag rather than fitted in the movement, so I'm selling it as a parts-and-restoration project rather than a runner. The dial itself has survived well: a brushed champagne face with faceted baton markers, the Longines winged emblem, "Ultra-Chron" script above the applied logo for the movement's high-beat 6651 caliber, and a date window at three. Hands and dial are clean, with only light spotting near six o'clock. The gold-toned case shows real handling - brassing through to base metal at the lug tips and edges, scuffing along the flanks - while the stainless steel caseback stays crisp, its Longines mark and reference 3202 1 legible. This suits someone who wants a genuine 1970s Ultra-Chron for the case and dial, and has the patience or the parts to put the movement back together properly.
Privatverkauf. Everything described above — case, dial, hands, lume, rate and service history — is agreed condition for this watch and I stand behind all of it. Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age. That exclusion does not cover anything I have misdescribed or failed to disclose, and never covers injury or intent.
Fourteen days to return it for any reason — my own promise, not a statutory withdrawal right. Terms · How I describe condition
