Ref. 196.0030 · Calibre Omega 1310The tuning fork logo on the day-date window is what pulled me in on this one, a small detail that dates this exact 32 kHz movement precisely. The black dial has stayed glossy and unmarked, with faceted baton hands and applied indices still throwing light cleanly under the domed crystal. My case is unpolished, and it shows: the caseback carries fine scuffing and light staining around the engraved rim, and there's a small crack in the crystal near the twelve marker I'm noting plainly rather than hiding. Popping the back off, the movement inside is a proper period piece, that copper coil and the gold-toned bridges laid out for anyone who wants to see 1970s Swiss quartz engineering up close. I'd point this one at a buyer who wants the movement as much as the case, someone comfortable with a crystal that needs attention and a shell left exactly as it was rather than buffed smooth.
