Calibre MSR T44What sold me on this one is the cushion-shaped case with its jet-black lacquered flange, gold-toned screws set right into it like rivets, framing a fully skeletonised movement rather than hiding it behind a conventional dial. I'm looking straight into the MSR T44 caliber: gilt bridges cut into scrollwork, a visible balance wheel, and ruby jewels catching light from every angle, with slim gold hands and a single applied "R" marker doing the job of telling time almost incidentally. The gold-plated case shows real handling — thinning at the crown side, a small ding near the lower lug — while the black lizard-grain strap has softened and cracked slightly at the folds. Turn it over and the movement is signed and legible, a manual-wind piece from the 1980s built to be looked at as much as worn. I'd point this one toward a buyer who wants mechanical theatre on the wrist rather than a clean, quiet dial.
