Revue Thommen Saltarello Jump Hour, 1990s
Ref. 5222 · Calibre AS 1727The layout is what sold me on this one before anything else — instead of a running hour hand, the dial uses a jump window at twelve that flips a printed numeral, paired with two stacked sub-dials, each carrying its own quarter-hour markings, so the minutes hand crosses from one register to the other as it goes round. It is signed Revue Thommen, with "G.T. 1885" and the Saltarello name printed either side of the jump window on a clean white dial, gold baton hands matching the gold-toned case. The case is gold-plated over a stainless steel back, and that back shows genuine handling marks and light scratching, consistent with a piece from the 1990s carrying a manual AS 1727 movement. The strap is black lizard-grain leather on the original-pattern gold buckle, worn in rather than stiff. I'd put this with someone who wants a dress watch that reads differently at a glance.
Privatverkauf. Everything described above — case, dial, hands, lume, rate and service history — is agreed condition for this watch and I stand behind all of it. Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age. That exclusion does not cover anything I have misdescribed or failed to disclose, and never covers injury or intent.
Fourteen days to return it for any reason — my own promise, not a statutory withdrawal right. Terms · How I describe condition
