Sinn Bell & Ross 144 St GMT Chronograph 1990s
Ref. 322 · Calibre Valjoux 7754The orange minute-counter hand and matching seconds hand jump off this dial the moment it catches light, a small chromatic detail that separates this Sinn from the plainer Bell & Ross-badged pieces I've handled. What I'm looking at is a black chronograph dial with cream-lumed Arabic numerals, applied hour markers, and a stepped case housing the automatic Valjoux 7754, GMT function included, all inside a bracelet worn thin enough at the clasp to show real handling. The case retains its brushed finish on the flanks with a bright, slightly rounded bezel edge, and I can see case-back wear consistent with years on a wrist rather than a shelf. Dial and hands are undamaged, the date wheel sits square in its window, and the twin pushers and crown move cleanly under the bracelet. This suits someone who wants a tool chronograph they'll actually use, not one they'll worry over.
Privatverkauf. Everything described above — case, dial, hands, lume, rate and service history — is agreed condition for this watch and I stand behind all of it. Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age. That exclusion does not cover anything I have misdescribed or failed to disclose, and never covers injury or intent.
Fourteen days to return it for any reason — my own promise, not a statutory withdrawal right. Terms · How I describe condition
