Slava Day-Date Automatic 1970s
I put this Slava on a NATO strap for the photographs, and against the blue webbing you can really see how warm the gold plating on the case has gone with handling. The dial is a silvered starburst, with day and date sharing one rectangular window at three o'clock, faceted gold-tone markers, and a small painted arrow at twelve marking the day corrector. My eye keeps going to the minute track's black-and-gold blocks round the flange, a nice bit of 1970s dial design most Slavas of this era skip. The case shows brassing at the lugs and scuffing to the bezel edge consistent with wear, and the caseback is unengraved steel with a legible but unquoted serial. It's a self-winding 27-jewel movement, made in the USSR, and I haven't had it opened to inspect it. This suits someone who wants a genuine period automatic day-date to wear, not to shelve.
