Tissot PR 516 GL Day-Date Automatic, 1970s
Ref. 46672-4X · Calibre Tissot 2571The bracelet on this one is the original Tissot fit, and the ridged links have gone soft-edged with wear where they catch the light rather than staying crisp. I like that the dial hasn't been touched: the gold sunburst finish still throws light cleanly off the baton indices, the red seconds hand is intact, and the day/date windows are clear and undamaged. The case shows real handling on the bezel and lugs, with light scratching typical of a piece worn rather than shelved, and the caseback confirms the gold-plated bezel over a stainless case, still sharp enough to read. I've had the back off to photograph the automatic 2571 caliber, and it's clean, unmolested, with the rotor and jewels all present and correct. This suits someone who wants a wearable 1970s Tissot with genuine dial character, not a display piece polished into blandness.
Privatverkauf. Everything described above — case, dial, hands, lume, rate and service history — is agreed condition for this watch and I stand behind all of it. Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age. That exclusion does not cover anything I have misdescribed or failed to disclose, and never covers injury or intent.
Fourteen days to return it for any reason — my own promise, not a statutory withdrawal right. Terms · How I describe condition
