Ref. 46813-1X · Calibre Tissot 2571What sold me on this particular Seastar is the colour shift across the dial itself — a deep forest green at the edges that lightens almost to sage under the centre, with no two photos catching it quite the same way. The applied baton indices and the day-date wheels still line up cleanly under the crystal, and the hands keep a matching lume tone with the markers rather than fighting them. I've left the caseback off in the photos so you can see the 2571 automatic movement, the gilt rotor and lettering all present and sharp against the steel. Around the case there's genuine handling wear: fine scuffing on the bezel edge and casebacks, fill marks where the finish has thinned, the kind of surface you get from decades of actual use rather than a shelf. I've put it on a green NATO for these shots, but the lugs and crown guard shape suit a plainer strap just as well. This one is for someone who wants a wearable 1970s automatic day-date, not a dial kept under glass.
