Titus Disco Volanta Dress Watch, 1950s
Ref. 615908This is a dial I'd leave exactly as it is: small dark spotting scattered across the silvered surface, heavier through the upper half than the lower, with the Roman numerals, blued leaf hands, and small seconds register at six all sitting where Titus placed them. TITUS GENEVE and NON MAGNETIC lettering are still legible under the marks, which is part of what I like about this one. The case is steel, and the FOND ACIER INOXYDABLE back shows real handling wear, with brassing coming through at the lug edges where the finish has worn thin. Turning it over, the fifteen-jewel manual movement is clean and signed TITUS GENEVE, with a serial legible on the case back that I'm leaving out of this description. This suits a buyer who wants a 1950s dress piece to wear as it is, spotting included, rather than one already tidied up.
Privatverkauf. Everything described above — case, dial, hands, lume, rate and service history — is agreed condition for this watch and I stand behind all of it. Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age. That exclusion does not cover anything I have misdescribed or failed to disclose, and never covers injury or intent.
Fourteen days to return it for any reason — my own promise, not a statutory withdrawal right. Terms · How I describe condition
