Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight ref. M79030B-0001 cal. MT5402 39mm Stainless Steel Dive Watch from 2020
Ref. M79030B-0001 · Calibre Tudor MT5402 · 39mm Stainless steelCondition — Unpolished case with original dial and full box, papers and accessories
Provenance — Privately bought and privately sold, the way the whole collection runs.
What sold me on keeping this one in the case rather than on the wrist is how clean the bevel on that domed crystal still is under the loupe. The dial is a deep blue-black, gilt-adjacent indices catching light against the matching blue bezel, and the case is a compact 39mm, that smaller Fifty-Eight proportion I still think wears better than the standard Black Bay. On the bracelet side the brushed links show light handling marks near the clasp, nothing dramatic, and the polished bevels on the case flank remain sharp with no dish to the edges. It's running on the in-house MT5402, which I haven't had opened, so I can't speak to what's inside beyond what the movement is on paper. It comes with the box, both cards, spare links still bagged, and manual, which suits a buyer who wants everything that left the boutique with it, not just the head.
Buying from a stranger, in short. Every fault I know of is in the listing, and if you find one I missed, the return stands. Take the watch to a watchmaker of your choosing before you pay — I have never once objected. Fourteen days to send it back, for any reason at all.
Privatverkauf. Everything described above — case, dial, hands, lume, rate and service history — is agreed condition for this watch and I stand behind all of it. Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age. That exclusion does not cover anything I have misdescribed or failed to disclose, and never covers injury or intent.
Fourteen days to return it for any reason — my own promise, not a statutory withdrawal right. Terms · How I describe condition
