Zodiac Astrodigit LCD 1970s
Ref. 1112 8-77I keep an eye out for the LCD pieces from this era, and the faceted case on this Astrodigit is what sold me on it. The dial isn't really a dial at all — it's a grey LCD module behind a mineral crystal, showing hour and minute digits with a small four-armed cross logo etched above the display, and "Zodiac Astrodigit LCD Swiss Made" printed beneath it. My example has visible micro-scratching across the angled bezel facets and top case surface, plus light marking on the bracelet links, consistent with genuine wear rather than shelf storage. The steel case retains its sharp geometric lines and the case back is clean, with the Zodiac cross logo and reference numbers still crisply struck. This suits a buyer after 1970s digital design rather than a traditional hand-wound dress piece.
Privatverkauf. Everything described above — case, dial, hands, lume, rate and service history — is agreed condition for this watch and I stand behind all of it. Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age. That exclusion does not cover anything I have misdescribed or failed to disclose, and never covers injury or intent.
