Zodiac Astrographic SST 1970s Automatic
Ref. 882-963 · Calibre Zodiac 88DMy eye went straight to the crystal on this one — the acrylic bubble is covered in the fine hairline scratching that decades in a watch box will produce, and I decided the dial underneath was worth living with it. That dial is a deep sunburst blue that shifts almost violet toward the edges, ringed by a black graduated track with squared lume markers, a red dot at twelve marking the date window, and the Zodiac compass-rose logo at centre. The baton hands and markers still carry lume, gone cream rather than white. It's a cushion case, automatic, with the caseback stamped Zodiac Ltd, Le Locle, Acier Inox, reference 882-963, and the 88D calibre ticking inside. The bezel edges show real handling wear, small dings and scuffing rather than polish lines. I'd point this one at a buyer who wants a genuine seventies design worn on the wrist, not kept in a drawer.
Privatverkauf. Everything described above — case, dial, hands, lume, rate and service history — is agreed condition for this watch and I stand behind all of it. Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age. That exclusion does not cover anything I have misdescribed or failed to disclose, and never covers injury or intent.
Fourteen days to return it for any reason — my own promise, not a statutory withdrawal right. Terms · How I describe condition
