Zodiac Hermetic Three-Hand Manual Wind, 1970s
Ref. 613 613 · Calibre Zodiac 61AThe tonneau case on this one caught my eye before anything else — that cushion shape with sharply cut lugs is what marks it as a Hermetic, and the gold-toned finish still holds real shine across the flanks, even with brassing at the high points and a scuff along one lug edge. The champagne dial has aged evenly, with applied baton indices and a matching set of hands that have kept their colour without going patchy. The caseback carries the reference clearly, and opening it shows the 61A movement in clean, unrestored order, jewels and gilt lettering legible under the loupe. I can't speak to when it last saw a service, and I'm not claiming anything about how it runs day to day, only what I can see. This suits someone who wants a manual-wind 1970s Zodiac to wear and study, not one they'll worry about scratching further.
Privatverkauf. Everything described above — case, dial, hands, lume, rate and service history — is agreed condition for this watch and I stand behind all of it. Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age. That exclusion does not cover anything I have misdescribed or failed to disclose, and never covers injury or intent.
Fourteen days to return it for any reason — my own promise, not a statutory withdrawal right. Terms · How I describe condition
