Zodiac Hermetic Three-Hand 1970s
Ref. 683 613 · Calibre Zodiac 68AThe dial is what makes me stop on this one: a copper-brown fumé that shades from pale rose at the edges down to deep chocolate at six o'clock, with a fine woven texture catching light differently at each angle. Gold-toned baton indices and dauphine hands sit crisply against that gradient, and the date window at three still reads cleanly. Zodiac cased this reference 683 613 in a cushion-shaped gold-toned case with hooded lugs, and mine shows genuine wear at the edges and on the crown, brassing visible through the plating rather than an unworn surface. The steel caseback carries a legible serial I won't reproduce here. Inside, the manual-wind 68A caliber runs seventeen jewels, its bridge sunburst-finished and visible through the open back. I'd point this one toward a buyer who wants a distinctive 1970s dial over a spotless case.
Privatverkauf. Everything described above — case, dial, hands, lume, rate and service history — is agreed condition for this watch and I stand behind all of it. Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age. That exclusion does not cover anything I have misdescribed or failed to disclose, and never covers injury or intent.
Fourteen days to return it for any reason — my own promise, not a statutory withdrawal right. Terms · How I describe condition
