The two-tone bezel is what stopped me on this one — that faded black-and-yellow insert with the red minute markings has worn unevenly enough that no two segments catch the light the same way, and I like that it hasn't been swapped for a fresher one. The dial underneath is a matching black with a yellow chapter ring, applied luminous batons, and the lollipop seconds hand still showing its original green tint. Case sides are brushed and free of obvious buffing, though the crown lacks a guard and shows wear where it's been gripped over the years. Flip it over and the 72B automatic is clean, 21 jewels stamped clearly, with light spotting on the inside of the caseback that tells me it's never been polished out. I'm selling it on a NATO because I think that's how this reference wears best day to day. Suits a buyer who wants a period-correct Sea Wolf to use, not shelve.
Buying from a stranger, in short. Every fault I know of is in the listing, and if you find one I missed, the return stands. Take the watch to a watchmaker of your choosing before you pay — I have never once objected. Fourteen days to send it back, for any reason at all.

Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age. That exclusion does not cover anything I have misdescribed or failed to disclose, and never covers injury or intent.
