Calibre Pierce 134I count four separate scales fighting for space on this dial — telemetre, tachymetre, a pulsations register for counting heartbeats, and the recessed 30-minute totaliser at six — and on this example every one of them is still legible under the loupe, the red and black printing crisp against a dial that has gone a warm, even cream. The blued steel hands, chronograph seconds included, still show good colour, and the single button integrated into the crown drives the mechanism cleanly when I press it. Turning it over, the movement is unmistakably a period chronograph calibre, bridges intact with visible tarnish and unpolished screw heads, nothing stripped or refinished. The steel case has softened edges at the lugs and light scratching across the caseback consistent with genuine handling, and the stainless steel back marking is stamped clear. I'd put this in front of a chronograph collector who wants a multi-scale dial to actually study, not just glance at, and who doesn't mind a case that reads its age.

Beyond that, the watch is sold excluding liability for material defects, as is normal between private individuals for a vintage mechanical object of this age. That exclusion does not cover anything I have misdescribed or failed to disclose, and never covers injury or intent.
